Spring 2015 Fashions

It's finally Spring and I can feel the warmer days heading our way- YES!! This year's Spring/Summer trends are set to be a great success as I feel they cater for pretty much everyone. The big fashion transition from winter to spring is always exciting as it encourages us all to get excited for the anticipated sunshine.

White is going to be huge this year as it is set to be a prominent trend for Spring. Forget wedding dresses and think of all the possible styles you can work with. Bold, feminine, layering and lace are just some of the ways to wear white this season. One of my favourite pieces from the White collection has to be this White and Black Trim Shift Dress by Rare as it is flattering for all body shapes and can be worn with or without leggings/tights.

ITVbe's TOWIE star Lauren Pope knows exactly how to get it right as she flaunts her body in this white two piece and teaming it with a pop of colour with her teal clutch bag. It's effortlessly fabulous!

If wearing a full outfit in white frightens you a little bit then I think this White Swing Shirt Dress is just perfect. It is a great alternative to a dress as you can team it up with jeans, leggings, shorts and even go bare leg in the summer. This Shirt is stunning as it has little lace paneling on the front, back and sleeves which really give it an edge.

I have teamed our favourite shirt dress with a pair of leggings by A Postcard from Brighton, a Blush Pink Edged jacket by Girls on Film and accessorized it with Match's ever so popular Two Coin Necklace in gold

Understated 70s

This has to be another favourite trend of mine set to be a great success. When anyone mentions the 1970s I automatically think of the rock infused fashion with ripped band t shirts and distressed flared jeans. For Spring this is not the case, instead we will be seeing a lot of 1970s inspired pieces such as floral prints, high necklines and structured silhouettes. We have been in love with a high neckline this season as it gives us an opportunity to flaunt other body parts such as our legs or arms. One of my favourite pieces is this Floral Pastel Bodycon Dress.

This beautiful dress ticks all the boxes for this seasons must have dress. It has a high neckline, fab floral print and has long sleeves so your legs can really be showcased. Celebrities such as Aubrey Plaza have been sporting the high neckline and floral prints also. Plaza looks amazing in this minidress by Suno as it makes her stand out from the crowd.

If brightly coloured floral prints are too much then I also have a lovely alternative that fits into the Understated 70s trend. This Belted Shirt Dress by Rare comes in Khaki and Navy- both great colours and spotted on the runway! This shirt dress is so versatile and flattering with it's half sleeve and button up front. This shirt dress can be worn day or night by adding the right accessories.
