Sunshine, where art thou? I wish I could take back all the moaning I did when we had our mini summer heat wave recently because now it is quickly disappearing in the UK, I am missing it dearly. However, by saying farewell to unbearable heat and welcoming cool evening breezes allows the AW13 collections to arrive.

I love Rock ‘n’ Roll
Forget floaty feminine dresses with pops of bright colours and embrace one of this season’s biggest trends as it will rock your socks off! Denim, leather, lace, oxblood and khaki are all making a comeback, which I am very excited for, as I personally love combining textures and deep colours within my outfits. Think Joan Jett meets the cast of True Blood. This gorgeous berry shift dress teamed with a classic biker jacket and shoe boots are perfect for a current edgy look.

Emma stone looks amazing in this oxblood and fuchsia gown by Lanvin which she has given an edge to by adding a leather belt.

Designers such as Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent, have continuously been influenced by a punk/ rock/ Gothic style over the years. Cara Delevingne in Burberry is a beautiful example of how to mix textures and styles together for AW13.

A staple pair of jeans will benefit your wardrobe this season too. Whether you prefer tight, loose or distressed denim, it does not matter one bit! Dr Denim has arrived at Match and we could not be happier with the fit of these skinny beauties. These jeans come in black and rinsed blue at Match.

They look great worn casually with a basic T-shirt or dressed up with a pair of killer heels. Stars such as Mila Kunis and Harry Styles are big fans of the brand and so are we!

90s Heartbeat
Yes, that is correct. The 90s fashion police are coming back but this time to stay. I am not talking about MC hammer trousers, backwards caps or neon cycling shorts. Oh no, I mean BIG, BOLD and BEAUTIFUL key pieces are what every lady should be buying this season. Tailored fit jackets, capes, oversized cardigans/ jumpers, wide leg trousers, dropped shoulder tops and jumpsuits will be a big hit. Victoria Beckham’s AW13 collection is all about classic mixed with over sized silhouettes

Try to forget the obvious (yet awful!) 90s celebrity style icons such as the early Spice Girls and think about the powerful women such as Kate Moss, Princess Diana and Cindy Crawford when it comes to topping up your wardrobe. This beautiful structured cape dress and oversized cardigan will be in-store soon.

Pretty in Pink
If dark shades and tailored silhouettes are not your thing then fear not! Pinks, floral prints, fluffy jumpers, fur coats and box bags are also heading our way for autumn/ winter. What I love about this trend is how designers have gone the complete opposite end of the spectrum and focused on ultra feminine pieces to brighten up our season. The idea behind this pink phenomenon is for you to play around with certain pieces and style them with a vintage twist. This pink peplum top teamed with a midi skirt and box bag or this bright pink pencil dress are both outfits that are bang on trend.

Eva Mendes shows off her amazing Valentino pink coat, which is a great transitional piece. Bond Girl actress Olga Kurylenko also sports a fab pink dress by Christopher Kane. Pink is the colour for autumn.
